WHAT IS IT?
BE SUMMER is an Intensive Dance Week for young people aged 13 to 18 who want to improve their dance skills with nationally and internationally renowned dancers and choreographers.
The new edition of BE SUMMER will take place at Performact studios in
Torres Vedras between the 17th and 22nd July 2023.

FOR WHOM?

Young people aged between 13 and 18 who have a basic knowledge of dance and would like to develop it further with dance professionals.
It is aimed in particular at dance students at professional schools, conservatoires and other dance schools.

PURPOSE
​
BE SUMMER aims to facilitate contact between young dancers and nationally and internationally renowned choreographers, as well as the resulting learning and training.
BE SUMMER seeks to act in a way that enriches the educational experience by promoting artistic exchange and the sharing of experiences between participants.
TEACHERS
​
This year's teachers include Daniel Cardoso, artistic director of Quorum Ballet, Diana Pinto, Filipa Peraltinha, and master classes in JAZZ with Inês Afflalo, HIP-HOP with César Nusik, SEVILHANAS with Rita Gaspar, AERIAL DANCE with Tatiana Nozes, BALLET with O'Brien, PERFORMACT REPERTORY with Teodora Vujkov, JIU-JITSU, CONTEMPORARY FUSION with Roge Costa, and much more!

ACCOMMODATION & MEALS
​
Participants will be accommodated on the Performact premises.
All meals are included. Lunch and dinner will be provided by "A Cerca" restaurant. The organisation will also provide a kitchen equipped with a fridge and microwave.

EQUIPMENT / MATERIAL REQUIRED
​
Clothes suitable for the practice of dance and sufficient for the duration of the event;
A mattress and a sleeping bag.
If you are unable to bring any of these materials, please let us know as soon as possible.

Monday 17 July, between 9am and 9.30am.
CHECK-OUT
​
Saturday 22nd July, 6pm.
